Brother Tyrone Jones was born and raised in the city of Chicago, Illinois. God added Tyrone to the Church of Christ in August of 1988, located at Hamilton Park.
Brother Jones earned a B.S. Degree in Music Education at Grambling State University in December of 1985. He earned a Master of Arts in Music Education from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2006 and a Master of Educational Administration from Texas A&M Commerce in 2007.
Brother Jones has served in various Leadership capacities at the Greenville Avenue Church of Christ. They are Service/Care Group Leader, Adult Chorus Director, Wednesday Night Prayer Service Coordinator, Education Department 9th grade teacher and Adult teacher, Deacon of Personal Evangelism, Deacon of Integration Ministry, and currently Deacon and Coordinator of Personal Evangelism.
Brother Jones has been a lifelong Educator for 31 years whose focus is to grow and develop individuals to be the very best they can be. His primary focus is to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to bring lost souls to Christ.
Brother Jones has been married to Sister Vanessa Jones for the past 35 years. They have two daughters, Tishauna and Lashunda Jones.
