This session will provide tools and methods to engage our preschoolers (3 to Kindergarten) and to challenge students to understand who God, His Son, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit are and the importance of knowing Them especially during this time of virtual learning.
About the presenters:
Nicole Minor is a member of Greenville Avenue church of Christ (GACOC) along with her husband Bro. André Minor. As a member of the church of Christ at Eastside in Austin, Texas, Sis. Minor taught Preschool Bible Class students, as well as young ladies in grades 6 through 12. Currently, she serves as one of the teachers for the 2- and 3-Year Olds’ Bible Class at GACOC and is involved in a couple of other GACOC ministries. As the Director of The Family Empowerment Center at Tarrant County College, Sis. Minor served as an administrator, Co-Coordinator of The Empowering Links mentoring program for college women pursuing careers in the fields of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and Business as well as a mentor for students in multiple academic programs. Sis. Minor holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication and a master’s Degree in Project Management for Information Technology. She is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in Technology for Higher Education. Along with her husband, Sis. Minor is a Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator for premarital and marriage counseling, education, and coaching. Sis. Minor is blessed with two children: oldest son Adrian (serving in the United States Army as a 2nd Lieutenant and married to her daughter-in-love Nikita) and youngest son Noah who is thriving in homeschool.
Victoria Thomas is a graduate of Southwestern Christian College and Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Minor in Education. Husband Murk Thomas who is a deacon at Greenville Avenue. Six children, two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, and two grandchildren, and two grand dogs.
